    4-Week Photography Camp

An intensive exploration of photography in the digital age with professional instruction and hands-on projects.

    About Our 4-Week Program

Immerse yourself in the art and craft of still photography with our intensive summer camp.

The 4-Week Photography Camp is an intensive exploration of photography in the digital age. Photography students are immersed in the art and craft of still photography, and are introduced to the tools necessary to capture great images and refine them through digital imaging.

Photography students at summer camps develop the skills necessary to research, compose, and capture digital photographic projects in a hands-on educational environment. Students are encouraged to be creative, but are also taught to think of each project as a concise statement of artistic, documentary, journalistic, or commercial intent.

They expand their repertoire of techniques with light and shadow as they work with professional lighting and grip hardware and also experiment with inexpensive and unconventional practical sources of light and shadow.

The camp is designed for students of all experience levels, beginning with the fundamentals and filling the inevitable gaps in the understanding of those who have some experience.

All 4-Week Photography students are required to bring a digital camera with manual exposure control.
